Regeneron employees have formed a grassroots effort, Regeneron in the Community (RIC), to share their passion for science and the health and well being of others with neighbors in the local communities.

Volunteerism

Regeneron in the Community (RIC) was established in September 2008 to contribute to the quality of life of Regeneron employees while promoting volunteerism and community outreach in areas where our facilities are located. RIC is focused on providing in-kind gifts of time, energy, and volunteer services and is committed to making a difference in the lives of others, with respect and kindness.

Education

RIC is dedicated to support science education and general health programs, including cancer, ophthalmology, and inflammation. This includes programs for all ages, children through adults, including senior citizens, veterans, and the disabled.

Mentorship

Regeneron also supports and mentors from five to ten high school students each year. Students, who can enter the program as early as their freshmen year, are assigned to specific research groups where they have discussions with scientific mentors who guide them in preparing for major scientific competitions.
